Amal Clooney was beautiful with her Martin Margiela red gown dress by John Galliano yesterday at the MET Ball 2015. All eyes were on her as she arrived yesterday evening, while putting on a loved-up display with George Clooney. A gorgeous couple. The red color was perfect with her dark hair. The make-up was flawless.
Amal ‘s dress in the chinese theme was designed by John Galliano for Maison Margiela
“Artisanal dress“
I found a dress by John Galliano with some similarities
Here the fitting session with John Galliano and Anna Wintour for Vogue magazine

Perfect Amal’s hair has been done by Orlando Pita
The make-up by Charlotte Tilbury
Dolce Vita golden brown eyes with a more Eastern influenced sunset red lip.
Love this picture by Mario Testino

Fan Bingbing and Sarah Jessica Parker were my standouts, the former so elegantly and effortlessly ‘Chinese’ and SJP, always understanding the theme and going that glorious extra mile. Rhianna also gave it welly and regardless of whether people liked her choice or not, she also at least understood what the Met Ball is all about.
Amal wore an interesting dress and it looked good (Galliano, despite his shortcomins, is a true artist) and the colour really suited her but beyond that, meh, there was no concession to the ‘Chinese’ theme, so no, not a stand-out. Sadly, she seems to have become a willing Wintour puppet, happy to do whatever Anna wants.
I really dislike the cold, brittle Wintour and wonder what it is that makes people think her ‘endorsement’ is something to be appiauded?

The dress is beautiful and looks great on Amal. I was at the Met the day before and saw the tents already up. Feels surreal that o was there 24 hours before all of this . My favorite picture of her is the close up profile one on her own as she’s going up the stairs ; her face doesn’t look as thin as all the other photos and you can really see her true beauty ( both inner beautiful spirit and outer aesthetic beauty ) in that one shot.
Thank you Nati for your hard work. How do you find the time ? This seems like a full time job to me. Someone should pay you for this . Anna Wintour , if you’re reading this, hire Nati as your investigative editor !!

And Amal – if you’re reading this – give Nati a break for a week – go for a week long vacation to Italy so we can all also leave her alone with posting our comments! Just reading through all the comments you get must take an enormous amount of time Nati. I’m on here 10 minutes a day (when I’m on the toilet), and I bless you every time Nati for keeping me ‘occupied’ (pardon the pun)!!

SJP looked hideous, as she usually does, right down there with the 3 ‘naked dresses” – no elegance, just flash.

George is 54 what is he supposed to look like he looks damn god for his age. George would look younger if he died his hair and had botox for his wrinkles. Which I hope he never does there is no sin in aging we all do it . George has also health issues which still effect him and I think cause him to look tired he has headaches and there is nothing that can be done for them.

George uses botox – it’s very selective and in doses to minimise complete paralysis e.g. frown lines and some of the crow lines. He has an excellent cosmetic dermatologist and works hard at keeping it looking ‘natural’. It’s the new wave in dermatology.

WHAT KIND OF PERFUME DOES AMAL WEARS ???
Since most of us won’t ever get that close to her to smell it. She loves flower pasterns on her dresses, so would she be fond of sweet flowery scents too? A woman’s perfume is such part of their character, and many celebrities and movie stars have immortalized so many perfumes.
… so… will we see an Amal fragrance very soon?? If so, i hope it will have some sweet flowery scents with a zest of femme fatale in it… (shishsss, i just described myself hehehe) It can actually be many fragrances; one for each of Amal’s dressing style: the Working Amal, the Sporty Ripped Jeans Amal, the Flowery Amal, the Femme Fatale Sexy Amal, the Lady Amal, the …etc….you got the point haha.. dam! i just realized how different styles she taps on! That will be a perfume for all tastes haha
NOTE FOR FRAGRANCE MAKERS: if you ever make such perfume, using MY IDEA, please send me (and Nati), some FREE samples! hahaha

I’m was surprised to see her in a dress by John Galliano. While it was beautiful, I don’t think she, as a human rights, lawyer, should be the one to reinvent his career.

I notice she isn’t carrying a bag or clutch. She would need to touch up her lipstick surely? Maybe they have staff to carry their personal stuff for the evening.

Helen,
If you look back in the pictures, you will see a young assistant (male, blue(?) tux, hair in a bun, white sneakers). He is also in the picture with AC, Anna Wintour, & Galliano.
He is carrying her clutch. He is also fixing AC’s dress in many of the pictures…especially the ones of her on the stairs.
AC is carrying her clutch as she is walking down the stairs to leave.

A lot of the women had assistance with their dresses. Well we should have even more pictures of them this weekend. George’s new movie premieres this weekend at Disneyland.

Cate Blanchette actually wore one of his gowns to the Oscar’s well before Amal wore this. As she is a human rights lawyer I think it most appropriate it simply means that people who make mistakes have the right to a second chance.

Cate Blanchett is the epitome of hypocrisy. If you look under the word hypocrite in a dictionary, her name comes up. I hope Amal turns out to be nothing like Cate.

Have a read through all of these articles – sorry, I found them in 5 seconds – it’s just a taster, an introduction to Cate’s lifestyle, politics, views, fashion status and pseudointellectual feministic stances – when you’re done, do some of you’re own further googling if you want, and see what you think.
Then, we talk. I’m curious to hear if you’ll agree.

Ok!read them…I don’t have a comment though cause for some reason I see many stars “supporting” great causes just in the words and afterwards they go about their bussinesses…There are only few that actually follow through with what they say…Do I agree?NO, But that’s PR for celebs!!!Donate money or get money and you are a philanthropist and get a tax refund (maybe)!!! I don’t even know if some of them know what they are supporting….Anyway that is a really big discussion….All I can say is that, we are used to putting all the celebs so high in our minds and then get dissapointed…I say, like them or dislike them for their work only and strip them of all that glamour-fake-extraordinare and then they are just nothing more than us….Otherwise I want to say that actors are paid millions to be in a movie and doctors who save lives daily won’t get 1 million in their whole life!!!!how fair is that?

Hi Nati,
our Focus Magazine published following article this morning:
This is the proof for real love.
