Don’t mean to be snarky, but I pose the question: is there significance in the fact that Amal Clooney is never seen wearing the same article of clothing twice? Even members of the British royal family wear things more than once. What does it say about Amal? Anybody?

She thinks she is an aristocrat of some sort. Clearly she has stylists and personal shoppers and makes no effort to tone it down. She is a very flashy woman and could use some humbling. Angelina Jolie wears black to avoid the paps commenting on her clothing. Too much self love.

Her mother Baria loves designers clothes and accessoires. Amal has been influenced by her perhaps with the phrase “not expensive enough for me” … = I don’t buy it.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again… I hope she doesn’t get all caught up in the fame and feel she has to go haute couture all the time. I like how she has “raised the bar” since marrying George, but hope she doesn’t feel it’s necessary to ‘dress for the public’ all the time. Anymore, she’s pretty much adorned head to toe in about $5,000 dollars a shot: shoes, dress, jewelry, coat, handbag. Head to toe about $5,000. She’s moving more away from her corporate, conservative lawyer style to glam, haute couture, Hollywood style.

I was never a big fan of winter white… but that coat looks spectacular on her in the winter white. I just don’t like the way she paired it with the “black” knitted snow cap… maybe a different color would of worked better or no hat would of been even better. It just made the look a little frumpy. It was like she was channeling American stylist Rachel Zoe, who made knitted hats so popular. She even wears them in the summer 😦
I must say kudos to the Duchess of Cambridge… I love that coat on her in the fitted black version, very, very elegant with that pop of red on her brooch. She wore it so well. They both wore it very well.
