Amal and George Clooney are all smiles as they arrive at Da Pierluigi restaurant on Sunday night (May 12) in Rome, Italy.
Amal Clooney has impressed in the style stakes for the third time in a week. She stepped out this weekend in a trendy plaid two-piece by Prabal Gurung for a diner with George Clooney in Rome.
The ensemble is made up of a plaid peplum top with lace detail and matching flared trousers. She dressed the look up with nude velvet heels by Gianvito Rossi, a silver clutch bag and an orange short coat.

Dreadful. What a hot mess. That said I prefer it when she wears less makeup. She looks a lot younger in this shot.

You ladies are tough cookies! To me, her makeup is flawless; notice that her complexion matches her neck and decolletage. In addition, her hair looks as fabulous as ‘they’ can surely afford and her curls look lux from root to ends in my eyes. I agree that fabrics like polyester aren’t ideal but hey, she’s a mom and it’s likely easier to clean and care for.
Secretly, not so secretly, I pine to have Amal photographed looking less high-society. *Perhaps, outside a club or fun dive bar wearing fabulous sweat pants and heels smoking a blunt? A lady can only dream! And while I may lack class, I continue to admire Amal for being not only fashionable but a strong, intelligent and substantive woman.
