George Clooney got down on one knee and presented Amal Alamuddin with a seven-carat diamond engagement ring on April 22, according to People; a photo of the rock was revealed on their May 12 cover !
‘They plan on being together forever,’ an insider said of the pair.
‘He respects that she is not remotely involved in his world,’ a friend of Clooney, who the magazine revealed popped the question on April 22, said. It was also reported by the publication that the Out Of Sight actor got down on one knee to ask for Amal’s hand in marriage.
Added another friend: ‘Amal seems to be the best fit for him he’s ever had in a partner.’
A source told the weekly the wedding could be as soon as September.
